Possible Causes

Safety Checks You Can Do
• Turn off the circuit breaker supplying the oven for 60 seconds, then turn it back on to perform a hard reset
• Verify the oven is plugged into a dedicated 240V outlet as required by USA electrical codes and check that the outlet is functioning properly
• Check the home circuit breaker panel to ensure the oven's breaker has not tripped; reset if necessary
• Allow the oven to cool completely to room temperature before attempting any troubleshooting
• Inspect the oven door latch and seal for visible damage, gaps, or misalignment, especially if the error appeared after a self-clean cycle
• Look inside the oven cavity for any visible damage to the temperature sensor probe (thin rod or wire near the back wall) and ensure it is not bent or corroded
• Verify all accessible cable connections between the control panel and oven chassis are secure and show no signs of corrosion or damage
• Attempt to clear the error by powering down completely for 5 minutes and restarting to see if the code returns
• Check that nothing is blocking the oven door from closing fully, as this can trigger sensor communication errors
