Safety Checks You Can Do
• Allow the oven to cool completely for at least 30 minutes before attempting any checks
• Perform a hard reset by switching off the circuit breaker serving the oven for 60 seconds, then switch it back on
• Check that the oven is plugged into a dedicated 240V circuit as required by USA electrical codes
• Verify the home circuit breaker for the oven has not tripped; reset if necessary
• Inspect the oven door latch and seal for damage, especially if the oven recently completed a self-clean cycle
• Look for any visible damage, corrosion, or loose connections on the temperature sensor probe inside the oven cavity
• Ensure nothing is blocking airflow around the oven or restricting ventilation
• If error clears after reset but returns during cooking, note when it occurs to help identify intermittent sensor issues
• Do not attempt to disassemble the oven or remove internal components
• If error persists after a hard reset and visual inspection, the temperature sensor likely requires professional replacement
