Symptoms
• Oven will not heat or preheat
• Oven beeps and displays F03 error code on the digital display
• Oven may shut off mid-cycle
• Temperature display shows incorrect or fluctuating readings
• Self-clean cycle initiates but stops abruptly
• Unable to set or maintain desired cooking temperature
Possible Causes
• Temperature sensor probe (RTD sensor) is damaged, corroded, or has failed
• Loose or disconnected wiring between the temperature sensor and control board
• Temperature sensor probe connector is loose or not fully seated
• Control board failure preventing proper sensor signal recognition
• Burnt or damaged terminal connections at the sensor or circuit board
• Residue buildup on the temperature sensor from spills or self-clean cycle
• Failed temperature sensor after power surge from home electrical issues
Safety Checks You Can Do
• Allow the oven to cool completely for at least 2 hours before attempting any troubleshooting
• Power down the oven by switching off the dedicated circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then switch it back on to perform a hard reset
• Check that your oven is properly connected to a dedicated 240V outlet as required by USA electrical codes and that the circuit breaker has not tripped
• Inspect the oven interior for any visible debris, food spills, or burnt residue near the temperature sensor probe (typically located inside the oven cavity)
• If debris is visible, allow the oven to cool completely, then gently wipe away any loose particles using a dry cloth—do not use water or cleaning solutions
• Check that the oven door closes properly and the door latch and gasket seal are intact with no gaps, as heat leaks can affect sensor readings
• Open the oven door and visually inspect the temperature sensor probe for visible cracks, discoloration, or damage—do not attempt to remove or touch the probe
• Verify that no recent self-clean cycle occurred just before the error, as residue from self-cleaning can temporarily affect the sensor
• If the error persists after a reset and visual inspection, the oven will require professional service as the temperature sensor or control board will need replacement
Safety First
Always disconnect the appliance from power before performing any checks. If you are unsure about any step, please contact a qualified technician.
