Symptoms

• Machine stops mid-brew cycle and displays E15 on the control panel • No water flows when attempting to brew coffee or dispense hot water • Weak or no water pressure during beverage preparation • Machine beeps repeatedly and halts operation • Water tank appears full but machine won't draw water • Error message remains even after attempting to brew again

Possible Causes

• Water tank is empty, not properly seated, or not filled sufficiently • Water supply line kinked, pinched, or disconnected internally • Water inlet filter or intake valve clogged with mineral deposits from hard water common in USA regions • Brew unit water inlet port blocked or partially obstructed • Descaling cycle overdue due to mineral buildup from tap water hardness • Water pump failure or malfunction • Faulty water level sensor unable to detect water presence • 120V power supply to water pump interrupted or unstable • Internal water system pressure valve stuck or defective

Safety Checks You Can Do

• Check your home circuit breaker panel to ensure the outlet powering the coffee machine has not tripped; reset if necessary • Remove and inspect the water tank for proper seating and fill it with fresh filtered or bottled water to the maximum line • Verify the water tank connection point is clean and the tank slides in until it clicks or seats fully • Inspect the water inlet tube at the back or bottom of the machine for visible kinks, pinches, or disconnection • Run a full descaling cycle using Bosch-approved descaling solution to clear mineral buildup from internal water lines and valves • Check the drip tray and grounds container are empty and properly installed to ensure no overflow is blocking water sensors • Remove and visually inspect the brew unit (if your model allows user removal) for debris, mineral deposits, or blockages in water inlet holes • Empty and refill the bean hopper, then manually rotate the bean grinder dial to ensure beans are not jammed • Power down the machine completely by unplugging it from the wall outlet for 60 seconds, then plug it back in to perform a hard reset • After reset, attempt a test brew with fresh water in the tank and observe if water flows normally
