Symptoms

• Machine displays E07 error code on the control panel and stops brewing • No water flows through the coffee outlet or only weak water flow • Machine beeps or makes unusual grinding sounds before displaying the error • Steam wand produces little or no steam when attempting to froth milk • Machine may power off unexpectedly or freeze during operation • Water drips slowly from the brew outlet or not at all • Display screen may show the error repeatedly even after machine restart

Possible Causes

• Mineral scale and hard water deposits blocking water lines (common in USA regions with high mineral content) • Clogged or blocked water pump due to accumulated sediment or mineral buildup • Faulty water pressure sensor failing to register proper system pressure • Kinked or disconnected internal water tubing • Water pump motor malfunction or electrical connection failure • Brew unit not properly seated, preventing water flow through the coffee outlet • Malfunctioning inlet valve restricting water entry into the system • Air lock in the water system preventing proper water circulation • Defective pressure switch or relief valve in the brewing circuit

Safety Checks You Can Do

• Unplug the machine from the wall outlet and wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in to perform a hard reset • Check that your home circuit breaker has not tripped; if it has, reset it and try the machine again • Verify the water tank is completely filled with fresh, cold filtered or bottled water and is properly seated in its position • Remove and reinsert the water tank firmly to ensure proper connection and water line engagement • Run a full descaling cycle using a commercial descaling solution designed for USA coffee machines to remove mineral deposits common in hard water areas • Inspect the drip tray and grounds container for overflow or blockage; empty and clean both thoroughly • Check that the brew unit (if removable) is clean and properly inserted all the way into the machine until it clicks or locks into place • Look into the bean hopper to ensure beans are present and not jammed; shake the hopper gently if beans appear stuck • Examine the water outlet and steam wand openings for visible mineral buildup or blockages; if you see white crusty deposits, descaling is needed • Ensure the machine is placed on a level, stable surface and not tilted or leaning • Try running a test shot of hot water only (without coffee) to isolate whether the issue is with water flow or the brewing mechanism • Check that all external water connections and hoses (if your model has them) are not pinched, kinked, or disconnected
Safety First
