Symptoms

• Machine fails to dispense water or coffee into the cup • Water flows weakly or intermittently during brewing • Error code E02 displays on the machine's control panel • Machine halts mid-brew cycle and stops responding • Water may leak from underneath the machine or into the drip tray • Grinding function works but no water reaches the brew group • Machine beeps repeatedly and locks out all brewing functions

Possible Causes

• Mineral scale buildup in water lines due to hard water common in many USA regions • Water tank not properly seated or inserted into its housing • Clogged or partially blocked water inlet filter or supply tube • Low water pressure from the home water line or empty water tank • Faulty water level sensor or pressure switch malfunction • Air trapped in the water system preventing proper flow • Defective water pump unable to generate adequate 120V/60Hz operation pressure • Brew group positioning sensor issue or misaligned brew unit • Internal water line disconnected or cracked inside the machine

Safety Checks You Can Do

• Power off the machine completely and check your home circuit breaker to ensure the outlet is functioning properly • Unplug the machine for 60 seconds, then plug it back in to perform a hard reset • Remove and reinseat the water tank, ensuring it clicks fully into place and is filled with fresh filtered water • Empty the drip tray and grounds container to check for overflow or blockages • Run a full descaling cycle using a commercial descaling solution designed for coffee machines to remove mineral buildup from USA hard water • Inspect the water inlet area on the back of the machine for any visible damage or disconnected tubes • Open the brew unit door and verify the brew group is fully inserted, locked in place, and free of coffee grounds or debris • Check the bean hopper for empty beans or jammed beans that may prevent the machine from operating • Allow the machine to sit for 10 minutes after descaling to ensure water lines are fully flushed • Run a test brew cycle with just water to confirm water flows normally before making coffee
