Symptoms
• Dishwasher fails to start or stops mid-cycle
• No water visible inside the wash chamber
• E25 error code displays on the control panel
• Cycle times are shorter than normal
• Dishes remain dirty or unwashed after cycle completion
• Water does not spray from wash arms during operation
• Audible beeping or error alerts during startup
Possible Causes
• Kinked or blocked inlet hose preventing water flow
• Clogged water inlet valve due to sediment or mineral buildup
• Faulty water inlet valve requiring replacement
• Supply line disconnected or turned off at wall shutoff valve
• Tripped circuit breaker affecting the 120V power supply to the fill valve
• Home water pressure below 20 psi (minimum requirement for US models)
• Water supply line frozen or blocked by debris
• Defective water level sensor triggering false error signal
• Door latch not fully engaged, preventing fill cycle initiation
Safety Checks You Can Do
• Verify the water shutoff valve under your sink is fully open (turn counterclockwise)
• Check that the circuit breaker for your dishwasher is in the ON position at your home electrical panel
• Inspect both hot and cold water inlet hoses at the back of the dishwasher for kinks, cracks, or disconnections
• Run water from your kitchen sink faucet to confirm home water supply is active
• Close the dishwasher door firmly until you hear the latch click into place
• Remove the inlet hose screen filter (small mesh screen inside the water connection) and rinse under running water to clear sediment
• Check that the door gasket seal is clean and not obstructing the door latch mechanism
• Ensure the detergent dispenser door closes completely and latches properly
• Power off the dishwasher at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds, then power back on to reset the control board
• Fill a glass of water from your kitchen tap and let it sit; if water appears cloudy or discolored, wait 5 minutes for sediment to settle, indicating possible supply line issues
Safety First
Always disconnect the appliance from power before performing any checks. If you are unsure about any step, please contact a qualified technician.
