Symptoms

• Dishwasher fails to fill with water during the wash cycle • Error code E07 displays on the control panel • Cycle stops or pauses prematurely • Dishes remain unwashed or only partially cleaned • Water does not enter the tub even when the cycle starts • Buzzing or clicking sounds from the inlet valve area

Possible Causes

• Kinked, bent, or pinched water inlet hose • Water inlet valve malfunction or blockage • Clogged inlet screen filter (common in areas with hard water or sediment) • Low water pressure in the home's supply line (below 20 psi at the dishwasher connection) • Broken water inlet solenoid • Circuit breaker for the dishwasher tripped or power interruption • Faulty water level sensor • Main control board failure

Safety Checks You Can Do

• Check your home's main water shut-off valve to ensure it is fully open • Verify that the water supply shutoff valve behind or under the dishwasher is turned on completely • Inspect the hot water inlet hoses for kinks, twists, or damage • Test your home's water pressure with a pressure gauge (connect to an outdoor faucet or utility sink) to confirm it is between 20-116 psi as required by USA plumbing standards • Turn off the dishwasher and wait 2-3 minutes, then turn it back on and restart the cycle to reset the control board • Check your home's circuit breaker panel to ensure the dishwasher's breaker is in the ON position • Look for any visible water leaks under the dishwasher or in the cabinet below • Remove the lower rack and inspect the inlet valve opening at the bottom left or right of the tub for visible debris or blockages • Ensure the dishwasher door is closing completely and the door latch is engaging properly • Run hot water at the kitchen sink for 30 seconds before running the dishwasher to purge cold water from the line
