Symptoms
• Dishwasher stops mid-cycle and displays E11 on the control panel
• No water enters the wash chamber during the fill phase
• Water fills very slowly or not at all
• Dishes remain unwashed after a cycle completes
• Control panel beeps and the cycle halts prematurely
• Error code appears when starting a new wash cycle
• Water may drip weakly from spray arms instead of normal spray pressure
Possible Causes
• Kinked or pinched inlet hose between wall connection and dishwasher
• Clogged inlet filter screen at the water supply connection point
• Main water supply shut-off valve not fully opened
• Low water pressure in home plumbing system (below 20 psi)
• Frozen or blocked water line in cold climates
• Faulty water inlet valve solenoid preventing water flow
• Check valve in inlet line stuck or malfunctioning
• Municipal water pressure drops during peak usage hours
• Debris in water supply lines from recent plumbing work
• Defective water level sensor misreporting water presence
Safety Checks You Can Do
• Verify the main home water shut-off valve is completely open and not partially closed
• Check that the dishwasher's inlet hose is not kinked, crushed, or bent behind the unit
• Inspect the visible inlet hose connection at the wall for kinks or damage
• Turn off the dishwasher and pull out the inlet hose connection under the sink to check for debris in the filter screen
• Ensure water supply to other fixtures in your home is functioning normally to rule out a whole-house water pressure issue
• Confirm your home's water pressure is adequate by checking if water flows normally from kitchen faucets at normal volume
• Check your home's electrical panel to ensure the circuit breaker for the dishwasher has not tripped
• Run the dishwasher's rinse cycle alone to determine if the issue occurs on all cycles or specific programs
• Disconnect and reconnect the inlet hose connection to ensure it is seated fully and tightened properly
• Allow 30 minutes for the water inlet valve to reset, then attempt to run a new cycle
• Verify the door latch is fully engaging and the control panel responds normally to button inputs
