Symptoms

• Freezer fails to reach or maintain the set temperature • Display panel shows E07 error code • Interior temperature rises above safe freezing levels • Fan noise absent or inconsistent • Food items begin to thaw or develop frost unevenly • Compressor may run continuously without cycling properly • Alarm or beeping sound may activate on the control panel

Possible Causes

• Faulty evaporator fan motor that has stopped working or is failing • Broken or disconnected temperature sensor (thermistor) in the freezer compartment • Loose or damaged wiring connection between the control board and sensor • Frozen evaporator coils blocking airflow due to defrost cycle malfunction • Control board failure preventing proper signal reception from the temperature sensor • Power supply issue specific to the fan motor circuit on 120V/60Hz US electrical systems • Ice buildup in the air damper restricting cold air distribution

Safety Checks You Can Do

• Verify the home circuit breaker powering the freezer is in the ON position and has not tripped • Confirm the freezer is plugged firmly into the wall outlet with no visible damage to the power cord • Check that the freezer door seals properly and has no gaps or damage that allows warm air infiltration • Inspect the condenser coils at the back or bottom of the freezer for heavy dust buildup and gently vacuum if needed • Ensure the freezer is not positioned against a wall or in an enclosed space, as it needs proper air circulation around the unit • Verify the ambient room temperature where the freezer is located is between 50°F and 90°F, as recommended for USA installations • Check that the freezer interior is not overpacked with food items blocking vents and airflow • Listen carefully for any fan noise inside the freezer cabinet • Allow the freezer to sit unplugged for 5 minutes, then plug it back in to attempt a control board reset • Ensure nothing is stuck in or blocking the air vents inside the freezer compartment
Safety First

Always disconnect the appliance from power before performing any checks. If you are unsure about any step, please contact a qualified technician.
