Symptoms

• Dishwasher does not fill with water or fills very slowly • Wash cycle starts but stops prematurely • Display shows E01 error code and cycle halts • Water does not reach the spray arms during operation • Dishwasher beeps and locks out from continuing the cycle • No water spraying or minimal water spray during wash phases

Possible Causes

• Kinked, pinched, or blocked inlet hose connected to the water supply • Water inlet valve failure or malfunction preventing water flow • Clogged inlet screen filter (mineral deposits or debris from US municipal water) • Main water shut-off valve to the home is partially or fully closed • Low household water pressure below 20 psi (common in some USA regions) • Faulty water level sensor or float switch • Control board circuit failure affecting inlet valve signals • Frozen or stuck inlet valve solenoid in cold climates

Safety Checks You Can Do

• Check that the main water shut-off valve for your home is fully open (turn counterclockwise) • Verify that the dishwasher's dedicated water supply valve (under the sink) is fully open • Inspect both inlet hoses for kinks, twists, or pinching; straighten any bent sections • Look for cracks or leaks in the inlet hose and replace if damaged • Check your home's water pressure using a pressure gauge on an outdoor faucet (should read 20-116 psi for proper operation) • Unplug the dishwasher and wait 5 minutes, then plug it back in to reset the control board • Ensure the dishwasher door is closing completely and the door latch engages fully • Run a test cycle with the dishwasher empty to confirm whether water enters the tub • Check that no other appliances are running simultaneously (running a washing machine may reduce water pressure) • Inspect the inlet hose connection points at the water valve and dishwasher for loose fittings and tighten if needed
Safety First

Always disconnect the appliance from power before performing any checks. If you are unsure about any step, please contact a qualified technician.
