Symptoms

• Dryer stops mid-cycle and displays E09 on the control panel • Clothes are still damp or wet after a full drying cycle • Dryer runs but does not reach expected temperature • Drying time extends significantly longer than normal • Error code appears intermittently, then clears • Dryer may not advance to the next cycle stage

Possible Causes

• Faulty moisture sensor or temperature sensor module • Loose or corroded electrical connector on the sensor • Wiring harness damage between sensor and control board • Malfunctioning thermal fuse (blown due to excessive heat) • Control board failure or sensor signal processing error • Lint or debris blocking the moisture sensor contacts • Failed heating element causing temperature reading errors • Power supply voltage fluctuations affecting sensor readings

Safety Checks You Can Do

• Verify the home circuit breaker for the dryer is switched ON and has not tripped; reset if necessary • Unplug the dryer from the wall outlet and wait 5 minutes, then plug it back in to reset the control board • Remove and clean the lint filter thoroughly, ensuring no lint debris remains • Inspect the exhaust vent duct connected to the back of the dryer for blockages or kinks • Check that the external dryer vent flap opens freely and is not restricted by lint buildup • Ensure the dryer is not pushed too far back against the wall, as this can kink the exhaust vent • Verify proper 240V electrical connection and that the outlet is functioning with another appliance • Empty and inspect the dryer's interior drum area for any visible lint or foreign objects • Check all visible external connections and venting to ensure proper installation per USA building codes • If the error persists after these checks, discontinue use to avoid potential heating element or fire hazard
Safety First

Always disconnect the appliance from power before performing any checks. If you are unsure about any step, please contact a qualified technician.
