Symptoms
• Washing machine stops mid-cycle and displays E07 on the control panel
• No water or insufficient water filling the drum during the wash cycle
• Cycle times running longer than normal without proper filling
• Machine beeping or alerting with error code display
• Unable to complete wash, rinse, or spin cycles
• Water draining from the drum when it should be filling
Possible Causes
• Kinked or clogged inlet hose restricting water flow
• Clogged inlet valve filters (often caused by mineral buildup or debris common in North American water supplies)
• Malfunctioning water inlet valve solenoid
• Low household water pressure below the 20 psi minimum requirement for Bosch washers
• Incorrect inlet hose connections or missing inlet hose screens
• Faulty water level sensor or pressure switch
• Control board malfunction preventing valve activation
• Main fill valve assembly failure
Safety Checks You Can Do
• Unplug the washing machine from the 120V outlet and wait 5 minutes, then plug it back in to reset the control board
• Check both the hot and cold water supply valves behind the washing machine to ensure they are fully turned on
• Inspect the inlet hoses for visible kinks, twists, or damage and straighten any bent sections
• Disconnect the inlet hoses and check the small screens at both ends for debris or mineral buildup; rinse screens with clean water if clogged
• Run a test to verify adequate home water pressure by turning on a nearby faucet and confirming strong water flow (household pressure should be 20-116 psi)
• If water pressure appears low, check your home's main water shut-off valve and circuit breaker to ensure no upstream issues
• Verify inlet hoses are connected securely to both the machine ports and wall shut-off valves
• Run the machine on a test cycle with only hot water or cold water separately to identify if one supply line is blocked
• Clean the inlet hose screens at the wall connection points if they have accumulated sediment
• Check that the control panel buttons are responding correctly and the machine is in the correct cycle mode
Safety First
Always disconnect the appliance from power before performing any checks. If you are unsure about any step, please contact a qualified technician.
