Safety Checks You Can Do
• Unplug the dryer from the 240V outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in to attempt a reset
• Check your home's circuit breaker panel to ensure the breaker for the dryer is in the ON position and has not tripped
• Remove and thoroughly clean the lint filter with a dry brush or vacuum
• Inspect the exhaust vent duct on the exterior of your home to ensure it is not blocked with lint or debris
• Verify the exhaust vent damper opens freely and closes properly when the dryer is not running
• Look inside the dryer drum for any visible lint accumulation and use a dry cloth to wipe the moisture sensor contacts if safely accessible
• Run a test cycle with the dryer unloaded to see if the error clears
• Ensure the dryer is properly grounded and the power cord shows no visible damage
